About Ava

My sister Joy and I had a rough start in life. We were abandoned at a local market when we were just a few weeks old. It was a dangerous place for us, with dogs being stolen or poisoned, so the wonderful people at Little Steps Matter came to our rescue. They took us to a temporary facility to keep us safe, and we were the first dogs to move into their Safe House.


I’m a 3-year-old medium-sized Bali dog, and I’ve grown into a confident and gentle leader here. In the Safe House, I quickly became the pack leader, but I do it with kindness and love. I get along wonderfully with other dogs and even puppies, always ready for some playtime. I’m also a big fan of humans and absolutely love cuddles and attention.


I’m a social butterfly who enjoys the company of both my furry friends and my human companions. People here call me one of the queens of the house, and while I love it here, I know there’s a perfect family out there for me. I dream of a home where I can share all my love and gentle leadership.
